Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 November 2026
In short:
- By using the Service, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
- Your work is yours. We host and process it only to run the Service for you.
- The AI can be wrong. Check its work before you rely on it. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for wrong AI output or for what results from relying on it, and the approvals you give are your decisions.
- The Service is in preview: it changes often and is provided as it is.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and The AI Technology FZ-LLC (licence no. 47021008), a free zone limited liability company registered in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates, at FDBC3818, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah ("we", "us"), which operates 137x.ai. They cover the website at 137x.ai, the 137x.ai Workbench and its sign-in service at awake.137x.ai, and the 137x.ai desktop app (together, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
The Service is for your own use, and you are responsible for the work you do with it. These terms do not cover an organisation that runs 137x.ai on its own servers; that is set out in a separate agreement with the organisation.
2. A preview service
The Service is in preview. Access is by invitation, features change and may be removed, and it may be unavailable at times. We will try to tell you before a change that takes something away you rely on, but we cannot promise to.
3. Your account
- Your account is created by us when you are invited. Keep your password and your signed-in devices secure, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the AI does on instructions you give and automations you switch on — but not for what results from a fault in the Service itself.
- We choose which AI models and connected services the Service offers. Our administrators can manage your access and remove your account, but cannot open your Workbench through the Service.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Your content
What you put into the Service and what it produces for you — messages, files, documents, recordings, and the AI's answers — is your content, and you own it. You give us permission to store, copy, process and transmit your content only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI model provider and connected services you chose. We do not use your content to train AI models. You confirm you have the rights you need in the content you bring, including the agreement of everyone recorded in a meeting — recording people without their agreement can be a crime in the UAE and elsewhere.
We keep your content confidential, except as needed to run the Service for you — through our service providers, your AI model provider and the services you connect — or as the law requires, and we handle personal information as our Privacy Policy describes.
The Service itself — its software, design and the 137x.ai name — remains ours or our licensors'. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
5. AI output and actions
- AI can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and it can misread what it is given. Review its work — drafts, summaries, figures, documents — before you rely on it or send it to anyone.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or suitability of anything the AI produces, or for any decision, action, loss or other result that comes from relying on it or acting on it, except to the extent it is caused by a fault in the Service or our breach of these terms. You decide whether and how to use what the AI gives you. The exceptions in section 12 apply here too, and section 12 sets out the limits of our liability for everything else.
- The Service asks before the AI does things that matter: sending an email always needs your approval, and other actions ask you by default. When you approve an action, or allow a kind of action to run without asking, that is your decision and you are responsible for it.
- Automations, routines and AI colleagues run only after you switch them on. You are responsible for what you set them to do and for switching them off when you no longer want them.
- The Service does not give legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
6. Connected services and model providers
When you connect an account such as Google, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn or a business system, or use an AI model provider with your own API key, your use of that service is also governed by its own terms. You must be allowed to connect the account and to let the AI act on it. You are responsible for any charges that a provider bills to your own key. We are not responsible for third-party services, how they work, or their availability.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or deceive people about who is writing to them;
- access accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to;
- harass, threaten or harm anyone, or produce content that sexualises minors;
- interfere with, overload, probe or bypass the security of the Service, or try to reach another person's Workbench; or
- resell or provide the Service to others without our written agreement.
8. The desktop app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the desktop app on computers you use, for as long as you have access to the Service. You must not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute it except where the law allows. It may update itself, and older versions may stop being able to sign in. The app includes open-source components, which are licensed under their own terms.
9. Fees
Any fees for the Service are shown to you before you are charged, and you can choose not to continue. Costs charged by an AI model provider or connected service to your own account or key are yours.
10. Suspension and ending
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if it is needed to protect the Service or other people, or if we stop offering the Service. Unless we must act at once to protect the Service or other people, or because of a serious breach, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a chance to export your content first. Sections 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 continue after access ends.
11. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We protect it with the measures our Privacy Policy describes, but to the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of every security risk, or that its output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill, arising from the Service. Our total liability for all claims together relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the first claim, or 100 US dollars.
These limits, and the exclusions in section 5, do not apply to liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or to any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Responsibility for claims
You will compensate us for claims brought by others, and the reasonable costs of defending them, to the extent they arise from content you had no right to bring into the Service or from your use of the Service in breach of section 7. We will tell you promptly about such a claim, let you take part in its defence, and not settle it in your name without your agreement.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The courts of Ras Al Khaimah have jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or the Service, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. If you live in a country whose consumer law gives you protections these terms cannot remove, those protections still apply.
15. Changes, general terms and contact
We may update these terms. When we do, we update the date at the top, and for a material change we will tell you in the Service or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and export your content; continuing to use it after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about the Service. If part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies, and not enforcing a term is not giving it up. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not transfer these terms without our agreement; we may transfer them to a successor of our business. If these terms are translated, the English version prevails to the extent the law allows.
